At this time of year, the Network accepts applications for the Mobile Baptist Student Scholarship and the Addine Maynard Scholarship. These two scholarships are available to undergraduate students from Mobile Baptist Network churches, preparing for a Christian vocation and attending the University of Mobile, Samford University or another Southern Baptist institution. The Addine Maynard Scholarship was established to assist African American students. The Lillie Mae Dean International Scholarship is to assist a Baptist student from a ministerial or missionary family working in the area of language missions.

Interest from the Network’s Student Scholarship Trust, held by The Baptist Foundation of Alabama, provides the funding for these scholarships. As you find opportunity, please inform your members of this trust. Someone in your congregation may wish to contribute to this trust through gifts, memorials, or other means to provide future students the resources to receive an education.
