Welcome Eric Sanford, New MBN Team Member

We are thrilled to welcome Eric Sanford as the newest member of the Mobile Baptist Network team!
At our July Executive Committee meeting, the MBN Executive Committee unanimously called Eric to serve as our new Associate Director/Church Specialist. In this role, Eric will work alongside our churches to encourage renewal and revitalization, with a special focus on strengthening our rural churches and supporting our bi-vocational pastors.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Eric brings a wealth of experience in church planting, church revitalization, leadership development, and church administration. He has a heart for helping churches thrive and for equipping pastors to lead with faithfulness and vision.
Eric’s wife, Amanda, is from Tuscaloosa, and together they have two children, Reagan and Alex. We are excited to welcome Eric and Amanda to Mobile and to the MBN family.
Please join us in praying for Eric and Amanda as they begin this new chapter of ministry, and help us give them a warm Mobile Baptist Network welcome!

Celebrate 250 Evangelistic Outreach Event October 3, 2026

The Celebrate 250 Evangelistic Event is Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. The event will be from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We are planning for about 750 total participants.

There will be bounce houses, live music, free hot dogs, chips and bottled water for all participants.

We are asking churches to set-up a 12 x 12 booth with a carnival type game and give out church information to connect with the unchurched community in Mobile County. You have a 12 x 12 space to do with as you will. You will need to provide everything you need for your space.

Please note, this is a celebration of America’s 250th birthday and a carnival style event. Please keep to these themes. Please note: NO BALLOONS, NO CONFETTI.

In addition to a booth, we still need volunteers for parking shifts and trash containment, set-up take down, etc. If you have a person or 2 that wants to help in any of these type areas, please let us know.
