We look forward to celebrating our Lord’s birth with people from many nations at the International Ministries Center on December 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. for the International Christmas Celebration. I would like to invite you and your church family to be a part of the celebration this year.

The theme this year is A Little Like Heaven. The evening will begin with fellowship around the table with various International foods. There will be drama and Christmas Carols by the language churches’ choirs. Doug Wilson will be the speaker. Gifts will be given out to seafarers and children from the international community.

Church Administrator at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Elmore, Alabama

Cost: $120
Lunch is an additional $10/day

Registration & payment
deadline: January 16, 2017

Schedule:
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Class
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch  ($10 each day for catered meal)
12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Class

This seminar is a general overview of what is entailed in the work of ministry support personnel. The two-day seminar consists of 12 hours of study and activities. A certificate of completion is presented to each participant. The seminar covers office and technical skills, communication skills and people skills.

This basic training will answer such questions as:

¨ Is this a job or a calling?

¨ What do we believe and why?

¨ Am I qualified?

¨ Am I a leader or do I simply manage work?

¨ What office skills are required?

¨ How do I share the Good News through my support ministry?

¨ How do I stay “plugged in” and vibrant in this ministry?

The first simultaneous weekend will be January 14-15, 2017. Additional simultaneous dates will be added as needed to cover the County. This is a great opportunity for the entire family.
