Many parents and students may be interested in finding a local church, but may not know where to look. We want them to be able to meet you and your congregation on their first weekend on campus. We will offer a free WAFFLE breakfast and a meet and greet time with Church representatives. We will dismiss by 10:00 a.m. If you would like to be a part, please let us know in advance by contacting Campus Minister Jerrod Brown at 344-5904 or via email.

Your Church and Legal Issues August 16, 2016
|
Your Church and Legal IssuesTuesday, August 16, 2016 6:30 p.m. MBA OfficeChurches are exposed to the risk of being sued. Various requirements are imposed on us by the state and federal governments, and churches sometimes fail to comply. Churches have been hit with judgments, some of which have been multi-million dollar judgments. They have been subjected to government intrusion into their internal dealings. The main reason this happens is church leaders were operating with no knowledge of the legal requirements. The conference deals directly with what can be done to protect yourselves.State missionary, Jim Swedenburg will lead this conference. Although not required to attend, please pre-register here, or by contacting the MBA office no later than Thursday, August 11. Please note: this conference is subject to cancellation if not enough participants pre-register. This, and other like events, are made possible by donations to Associational Missions and the Cooperative Program.
