Hurricane Zeta Disaster Relief

The DR Incident Command Center is at Camp Whispering Pines located at 7740 Union Street, Citronelle, 36522. The phone number to call is 334-261-8616. You may also make a request online via sbdr.org.

The intake of new projects in Citronelle has declined rapidly. The feeding team also completed their work as electricity has been restored.

Our primary need now is to volunteer at CWP to help host the teams as they complete over 100 projects. We need volunteers for a day or half day to clean and help reduce 12-16 hour work days of Jimmy and Beverly. Please contact the Camp to offer help. The number is 251-866-7868.

We also still need someone to fix the walk in freezer.

Although the Annual Meeting of the State Convention won’t take place in person this year, please join us for an hour of inspiration and information at live.alsbom.org and the SBOM Facebook page, Tuesday, November 17, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Also, at 6:30 p.m. that same day, tune in for the International Mission Board Sending Celebration, also at live.alsbom.org or the IMB Facebook page.

Camp Whispering Pines is in need of someone who can donate the fixing of the walk in freezer.

CWP is located at 7740 Union Street, Citronelle, 36522. Please call Beverly at 251-866-7868.

Thank You to the churches and individuals who have given to the CWP relief efforts. Your donations have helped us get through the past month and continue the ministry of CWP. We still need your help! If your church was unable to participate in the September special offering, please consider doing it now. Volunteers are also needed to help with yard work, maintenance and cleaning of the facilities.

Thank you

to all who participated in the 2020 Walk for Bibles and International Ministries at Medal of Honor Park. We had 81 walkers at the park! There were 19 churches represented, and to-date an additional three who contributed. The total amount raised thus far is nearly $12,000. Visit International Ministries- MBA to see some pictures and future updates. It's not too late to make your financial contribution. Donations can be made to this vital fund 365 days a year.
