Although they have suspended all operations to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, we are still taking applications for their part-time jobs.

Once it has been determined the virus issue is under control, they will begin calling applicants again. Where else can you make this kind of money part-time with such flexible hours and be doing your community a service at the same time?

If you know someone who has been interviewed and hired by the Census Bureau, please tell them they are still selected for the position offered and the Bureau will get with them as soon as they are able to go back to work.

These jobs are temporary and can last from a few weeks to several months, depending on the specific job. Most jobs have flexible hours and all employees are paid weekly in the $18 an hour range. We try to keep each employee as close as possible to their own community, since people tend to work better in a familiar environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. citizen, have access to reliable transportation and have a social security number. Anyone interested in these jobs can simply apply online at www.2020census.gov/jobs.
