Annual Missions Celebration

Thank you to Crawford Baptist Church for hosting our annual session in the new Sunday night format. We continue to explore ways to involve more of our people. We enjoyed an excellent fellowship meal and reports about the outstanding work the Lord is doing through our ministries. Please share the information with church leaders. Thank you to those churches who convened their Sunday night service with us. Please put Sunday, October 7 on your calendar for our 2018 Annual Missions Celebration. We will meet at Redemption Church (Formerly North Mobile). Please consider moving your evening service to cooperatively celebrate associational missions.

Free Pastor's Lunch and Men's Ministry Essentials Training

My name is Kris Dolberry. I lead Men's Ministry at LifeWay Christian Resources. Through my role here, I have the opportunity to observe thousands of churches around the world. Without fail, the healthiest and fastest growing churches are also those who do the best job reaching, discipling, and mobilizing men. But, as you know, men's ministry comes with unique challenges. So, I want to invite you to join me for a couple of things coming up in your area in the next couple of weeks.

Lunch on Me

I'd love for you to join me for lunch (on me) on October 11, 2017. Ed Litton, Ted Traylor, and other pastors from the area will be there. We will talk about the challenges in reaching men and share with you about our national conference for men coming to Mobile in February 2018. Here are the details for lunch.

I want to make sure you've heard about our Men's Ministry training opportunity called Men's Ministry Essentials. October 9-10, 2017 in Mobile. You will hear from some of today’s leading experts in ministry to men, leadership, and discipleship strategies. Plus, we build in intentional time for networking with peers and experienced practitioners. You walk away with not only a comprehensive plan for your ministry, but also lifelong friendships and connections to experts that can help you with hurdles you’ll face down the road.

This gathering is also FREE! If you join us, we'll pay for conference fee, meals, and even hotel if you need it. We can take 2 per church. So even if you can't make it, we'd love to have someone from your church.

God is using the International Ministries of the MBA to impact the 66 language groups in Mobile County. WFBIM has the greatest financial impact on International Ministries of any single event.

The WFBIM provides Bibles, ministry to seafarers, support for new International Church starts among the 66 language groups in Mobile, International Missions Internships, and so much more. Even if you cannot walk, you can get pledges and come help register groups, pray for teams and missions, and help with the water stations.
