International Ministries Celebrates
Looking back over 2020, we have seen God’s faithfulness in the ministry at the port. More than 1,600 ships came to Mobile in 2020. Despite the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, International Ministries visited 524 ships, gave 521 English New Testament and tract packets, and 627 International language Bibles (Tagalog – Filipino, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, and others such as Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Burmese) to Seafarers.
In 2019, you generously gave funds to provide Christmas gifts to approximately 125 Seafarers (5.5 ships). This year you provided gifts for 806 (38 ships)! Thank you! With each ship visit, we ask for divine opportunities and to share the Gospel of salvation through Jesus. Please continue to pray for this ministry and the seafarers.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the 2020 5K Walk for Bibles and International Ministries. This year we tried something new, and we thank you for your patience, giving, and continued support. The final report on the WFBIM was as followed: 130 participates, 25 different churches, and we received $14,141.14. Many churches have served as cheerleaders for us. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Please be on the lookout for the 2021 WFBIM event info. We plan to hold it at Medal of Honor Park again this year.

After this past year, we are painfully aware of how many people are needed to respond to the devastating effects of a hurricane, and we experienced it twice in one year!
Register by sending an email to disasterrelief@mobilebaptists.org, or by calling the MBA office at 661-7111. Give your name, email address, preferred course, and if you are a new or current volunteer. We will get in touch with you about the next step and how to pay for the class(es).
