Medical Marijuana Issue and City Council Meeting Tuesday, November 22, 2022 |
The Knollwood Republican Coalition wants the Association to be aware of what is coming down the pike this week. They would like some warm bodies and people to speak at the Council Meeting. Whomever would speak will have to sign up early and speak no more than 3 minutes.
The City Council will meet this Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Government Plaza (ground floor) to vote on a marijuana issue in Mobile County. Mike Dow and others have poured in $20-$40k to get it legalized where it can be grown in Mobile County. They need to have it passed by the city before January to be allowed to grow it according to Marijuana growers rules.
This will not be put up on the City website until tomorrow evening for people to be aware of it. Some of the pastor’s that are up on things like this may already know, but it needs to be known to the public. ___________________________________________

Metro Mobile Baptist Campus Ministries International Student Christmas Dinner December 2, 2022 |
MBA Churches and Collegiate Ministries Supporters:
College campuses present a unique opportunity to the Church because they welcome the world to our local communities. Christians are able to make friends with people from all over the world without leaving home or applying for a passport! We have a great opportunity for your congregation to partner with us in making friends with the nations coming up on December 2nd. Metro Mobile Baptist Campus Ministries is sponsoring our Annual International Student Christmas Dinner to introduce our students from around the world to Christmas through food, music, decorations, cultural presentations, Christmas light displays, and table discussions.
We need friends from our local churches to help us provide food and decorations for this event. We need both American and International dishes and we welcome you to help us serve the food that evening. What a great opportunity to connect with friends from all over the world.
