Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

al-drlogo resized
Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers, including many from Mobile, are serving in Arcadia Florida assisting First Baptist Church and the Florida Baptist Convention in ministering to the local community. Pray for safe travels, effective work, and opportunities to share the love of Christ. We do not limit our efforts to Baptists or Christians. We are there to help. Our large feeding unit will be running. Chainsaw teams will be working. Flood recovery teams will be working. Chaplains will be providing emotional/spiritual care. Our communications team is going to provide reliable communications. If you know someone with trees down or had flooding in their home, have them call us. We are serving DeSoto County. If we are able, we will help. No charge. Call 334.613.2389. If no one answers leave a voicemail.

As a reminder, Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief does not collect or distribute donated items. Anyone who wishes to help financially may do so at www.sbdr.org/hurricane-relief.

Additionally, donations made to Mobile Baptist Disaster Relief (https://www.paypal.com/donate?token=1noqjJl3k5hb-v1Zh--hDlAkvalDg5tRgixBHVdo_wD0656xvhhUnkLbF7wDxtTM4pF2Avfif5BmB-zh) help keep our Chainsaw Trailer supplied and ready for deployment. The MBA DR ministry pays for insurance for each local volunteer that is deployed as well as some travel and lodging expenses. Several local volunteers are already serving in Arcadia and several more are deploying soon.

The MBA is also accepting gift cards to Walmart, Lowe's and Amazon. Bring them to the MBA office and they will go to the front lines with the next team.

Thank you for your constant support of this great ministry that brings hope and help in Jesus' name.
