Annual Church Profiles/Reports (ACPs) were mailed to church mailing addresses July 27, 2022. Please look for your church's ACP and make sure the Church Clerk gets the packet. Completed ACPs are due September 6. This profile of your church is a very important task for your church statistics and leadership personnel to be properly documented for the Association, Alabama Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. ***Our Executive Committee has overall responsibility for the directions, strategy, and processes of the MBA. It is composed of the general officers of the Association, the Executive Officer of each of the several Associational programs, the Chair of each standing committee, the pastors of the churches, and one lay member of each church in the Association having a membership of up to and including 1,000, and one additional member for each additional 1,000 members or fraction thereof, providing that no church shall have more than a total of four members.

In 2022, the Mobile Baptist Association (MBA) is celebrating 50 years of ministry to Seafarers visiting the Port of Mobile. In 1972, the MBA adopted the International Seamen's Ministry in cooperation with the Alabama State Board of Missions and the then Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Shiloh Baptist Church is looking for a FT Pastor of Music and Youth
Role and Responsibilities (Youth)
- Provide Sunday School classes for all ages in the middle school and high school age groups
- Provide a dynamic student worship service on Wednesday evenings
- Plan and lead a minimum of 2 retreats/DNow weekends per year
- Plan and lead a student camp each summer
- Help equip parents to disciple their students
- Recruit and train volunteers for various aspects of student ministry
- Plan and lead monthly social activities for mid and high school students
- Other duties as assigned
Role and Responsibilities (Music)
- Prepare for and lead worship at Sunday morning worship services, including choir, praise team, and band
- Lead choir rehearsal on Wednesday evenings
- Prepare special music for Christmas, Easter, and patriotic events
- Supervise and assist worship tech team
