| | | Annual Church Profiles/Reports (ACPs) were mailed to church mailing addresses August 2, 2023. Please look for your church's ACP and make sure the Church Clerk gets the packet. Completed ACPs are due September 5. This profile of your church is a very important task for your church statistics and leadership personnel to be properly documented for the Association, Alabama Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. It’s that time of the year again; a new college semester is just around the corner. As you hear us say repeatedly, Baptist Campus Ministries seeks to reach, grow and mobilize students with the gospel of Jesus and to help our Mobile Baptist Association churches do the same.
|
As part of this focus, we are offering four strategic partnership events to assist our churches in reaching collegians at USA and around the County.
|
- Campus Prayerwalk (Monday, 8/14/23 @ 6:00 PM at BCM): Prayer plows the ground for evangelism and discipleship for BCM and our local churches. Join us as we walk & drive the USA campus to pray for students, faculty and staff. Prayer guides are available for church partners to join with us to prayerwalk other Mobile County campuses as well.
- Welcome Waffle Breakfast (Sunday, 8/20/23 @ 8:30 AM at BCM): Our annual Waffle Breakfast offers churches the opportunity to meet students on their first Sunday morning on Campus, get to know them and to invite those students to visit your congregation. Remember, collegians are most likely willing to visit a church when they have been invited by other collegians.
- Church Search Sunday (Sunday, 8/27/23-various times): Plan something special for collegians on this Sunday and help BCM promote all that you have going on. Churches will focus on collegians on this Sunday and offer a time when they will meet up that day at the BCM to offer carpools/directions for new students.
- Campus Connect (Tuesday, 8/29/23- 10 AM - 3 PM at USA Student Center Terrace ): Immerse yourself into Campus Culture to meet college students and invite them to visit and get to know your church. Churches will be provided a space to set up an informational table in the USA Student Center Terrace Room to share with students, extend invites, register students for giveaways and door prizes.

| |  | Mobile Baptists have a unique opportunity to partner with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions in March 2024. The MBA will host the inauguration of local simultaneous outreach events we are calling “Making a Difference Mobile.” That title reflects a connection to the 2024 State Convention Annual Meeting theme, DifferenceMakers.

The partnership will allow the MBA to receive a limited number of grants for churches to provide outreach events any weekend (or weekday) during March 2024. The events will lead to your harvest events on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.
