This conference is presented by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.

This workshop, provided by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (ALSBOM), will help answer questions for church treasurers and financial leaders. Topics will include financial controls, payroll, IRS forms, employee or self-employed, taxable wages, FLSA, housing benefits, accountable reimbursement, expenses vs. compensation, retirement planning and more.

Cost is $15 per person. Cost goes up to $25 per person if registering within 7 days of the event.

Men's Ministries Leadership

Training

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, in partnership with the Mobile Baptist Association, presents this Regional Men’s Ministry and Royal Ambassador Training.

The Men's Ministry/Brotherhood Director training will follow the "Church Men's Ministry/Brotherhood Director Job Description" booklet as the agenda. The first level of RA leader training provides an overview of the program, resources, and leadership responsibilities.

This training is for church Men’s Ministry Directors, Royal Ambassador Leaders, and Challenger Leaders. Participants will learn the responsibilities and resources that are best in serving in churches and communities. There is no cost to attend this training. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to better your ministries. 

Steve Stephens, state missionary since 1980, is an Associate in the Office of Global Missions at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He directs the work of the Royal Ambassadors, Challengers, and Men’s Ministry. Steve will lead the RAs Conference.

Scott Overby will lead the Men’s Ministry Conference. Scott serves as the Men’s Ministry director at Heritage BC, Montgomery. He is also on the Alabama State Board of Missions Men’s Ministry Task Force.

The conference for Challenger Leaders will be led by Derek Blackmon, Challengers Director/District 7 Basketball Coordinator for the MBA.
