LEAD School Registration Now Open
Leadership Equipping And Development
LEAD-MBA has successfully completed the Fall 2014 Semester and has just begun our second semester (Spring of 2015) of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s post high school, Contextualized Leadership Development Program. Select MBA pastors are serving as professors and mentors to a variety of students. Courses taught in the fall of 2014 were NT Survey, Preaching, and Christian Theology. OT Survey and Baptist Heritage and Practices are being taught during this Spring Semester.
Please continue to advertise the LEAD program to your church and to other Christian brothers and sisters who live within driving distance of Mobile County. God is providing a way for us to continue this vital program. Within the next few months, advertising for the fall, 2015, semester will be sent out. A LEAD-MBA representative will work to assist with GGBTS student registration and will offer any needed assistance to introduce prospective students to the courses that will be offered in the fall.
LEAD-MBA is also pleased to offer a special opportunity for pastors, staff, interested church members, and spouses. From Monday, March 2, for five to six consecutive Mondays, Dr. David Grumbach, will facilitate a time of study, discussion, and learning based on his research and preparation for the course that he recently taught, Introduction to Christian Theology. This study will focus on a survey of the doctrines of Revelation, the Triune God, Creation, Humanity, Sin, and the Person and Work of Christ. The class will include deeper than average small group discussion but will be a time of becoming better students of God’s Word.
These sessions will be held at Government Street Baptist Church on Mondays, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. There will be a charge of $25 per participate (for one class session or for all 5-6 sessions). This charge will assist LEAD-MBA to be self-supporting, handle operating costs, and provide for future LEAD-MBA scholarships for our Contextualized Leadership Development Program.

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, in partnership with the Mobile Baptist Association, presents this Regional Men’s Ministry and Royal Ambassador Training.
This training is for church Men’s Ministry Directors, Royal Ambassador Leaders, and Challenger Leaders. Participants will learn the responsibilities and resources that are best in serving in churches and communities. There is no cost to attend this training. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to better your ministries.
Steve Stephens, state missionary since 1980, is an Associate in the Office of Global Missions at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He directs the work of the Royal Ambassadors, Challengers, and Men’s Ministry. Steve will lead the Men’s Ministry Conference.
Brent Pugh, RA Director for Baldwin County, and state consultant for ALSBOM, will lead the RAs Conference.
The conference for Challenger Leaders will be led by Derek Blackmon, Challengers Director/District 7 Basketball Coordinator, Mobile Baptist Association.

* single adult ministry is not just for the mega-church
* small-member churches can reach singles too
The conference is designed for church staff, Bible study leaders and teachers, and persons with single adult responsibilities in the church.

We would also like to request some printed information about your church that we can distribute to students as we assist them in finding a church home. This breakfast will end in time for students to make their way to one of our local Baptist Churches. it will be a great way to connect students to your local church.
