Reporting your VBS is vital and crucial in the life of the Association, State Board of Missions, and the SBC. The data reported and collected helps in planning, strategizing, and allows rejoicing over the lives changed for eternity. Please fill out the attached LifeWay form, preferably online, and send in a hardcopy to the MBA office.

LEAD CLASSES GET OFF TO A GOOD START
There are a total of 7 students in 3 classes (3 students are taking two classes each and 4 students are taking one class each):
Christian Theology I taught by David Grumbach on Monday nights (3 students)
New Testament Survey taught by J.T. Wright on Thursday nights (2 students and 1 auditor)
Communicating the Gospel taught by Greg Pouncey and Fred Wolfe on Thursday nights (3 students and 1 auditor)
There are one Asian, one African American, one woman, and four Caucasian men. There are two auditors and five for credit. Of the five credit students, four are enrolled in the Diploma in Christian Ministries program and one is enrolled in the Mission Studies Certificate program.

Join with other collegiate leaders from our Mobile Baptist Association churches who want to reach college students, involve them in the life of the churches, and mobilize them for service and ministry. We will hear from collegiate ministry specialists, share ideas in a round table format, and explore research and strategies for ministering to collegians. Participants will leave with specialized resources for collegiate ministry in the local church and a wealth of real life strategies for investing in the lives of collegians.
Issues and topics that will be discussed:
- Becoming a church that welcomes collegians
- Growing and discipling collegians in their faith
- Creating collegiate friendly settings in your church
- Making meaningful connections with collegians
- The "secret" to college ministry
- Reaching collegians on campus in partnership with BCM
- Maintaining relationships with students transitioning from HS to college
- What are college students like?

The luncheon is a great time of fellowship and encouragement as secretaries from across the association gather together.There will be a special time of installation for the new officers for 2014-2015.

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, in partnership with the Mobile Baptist Association, presents this Regional Men’s Ministry and Royal Ambassador Training.
This training is for church Men’s Ministry Directors, Royal Ambassador Leaders, and Challenger Leaders. Participants will learn the responsibilities and resources that are best in serving in churches and communities. There is no cost to attend this training. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to better your ministries.
Steve Stephens, state missionary since 1980, is an Associate in the Office of Global Missions at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. He directs the work of the Royal Ambassadors, Challengers, and Men’s Ministry. Steve will lead the Men’s Ministry Conference.
Brent Pugh, RA Director for Baldwin County, and state consultant for ALSBOM, will lead the RAs Conference.
The conference for Challenger Leaders will be led by Derek Blackmon, Challengers Director/District 7 Basketball Coordinator, Mobile Baptist Association.

Whether you are starting, reviving, or building a single adult ministry, this conference is for you. In this conference participants will refocus on the needs of single adults in the church and community. Other topics include:
* creating points of entry for singles in your church
* single adult ministry is not just for the mega-church
* small-member churches can reach singles too
The conference is designed for church staff, Bible study leaders and teachers, and persons with single adult responsibilities in the church.
State missionary Eileen Mitchell will lead this conference.
