International Language Schools (ILS) Director of International Language School, Melanie Brents, cell number 251-895-6979 The International Language School (ILS) opened in 1981 as an MBA ministry. The ILS is available to non-English speaking students. Each student is evaluated and placed according to their level of ability. A trained volunteer teacher helps the students learn English and about the love of Jesus.

If you are interested in volunteering to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at the Mobile International Language School during the 2013-2014 school year, then this training is for you! You will be equipped with the skills needed to teach English as well as share the love of Christ with the international community. When: Monday, July 15, 2013 Where: Mobile Baptist Associational Office 615 Azalea Road, Mobile, AL 36609 Schedule: 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Laubach Training) 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Dinner 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Side By Side Training) Cost: $10.00 How to Register: Fill out the registration form and mail it with your $10.00 payment to the associational office (see address above). Our area churches are welcome to visit any of the 3 locations. If you are interested in being a part of reaching the nations here in Mobile, please call Melanie Brents (see above) or email Buddy Bretns, the Director of International Ministries and Church Planting. These classes are made possible by scholarships given from the MBA, local churches, companies and individuals. You can sponsor a student for $100/year. Other ongoing needs include refreshments at each of the sites. Items such as crackers, cookies (homemade or store bought), individually wrapped candies, chips, and 2 liter drinks are appreciated.
