How to Become a Family Friendly Church April 3, 2014
How to Become a Family Friendly
Thursday, April 3, 2014
State missionary James Blakeney will lead this conference.
The conference will help churches evaluate their ministries to young adults and their families, emphasizing the need to care for these families. Many churches consider themselves a friendly church, but they also recognize they are not reaching the young adults in their communities.
To reach them, the church must demonstrate "unconditional" love and provide for the children of young adults.
Church leaders will be encouraged to place high priority on the preschool and children's ministry. They will make use of the free help "Becoming a Family Friendly Church" and the book Transforming Children Into Spiritual Champions by George Barna on which the conference is based.
