Thomas to craft a team based on your time frame, skills and budget. All teams include 3-4 touring days to gain incredible insight into the events and personalities in the Old and New Testaments.

Wright Word Mar - May 2016

 The Wright Word

Wright Word March - May 2016

“As the crowd was pressing in on Jesus to hear God’s word. . . .” Luke 5:1 (HCSB)
This verse is striking. There was eagerness among the first century population to hear God’s Word. Present day believers are tempted to present personal beliefs and personal opinions without clear biblical basis. As the culture becomes more secular, each believer has a greater responsibility to present biblical truth. Each believer must be careful to confirm every stated belief and every stated opinion directly from the Word of God. People need to see the difference between the Word of God and philosophy, religion or opinion. The secular culture still wants to hear the words of the Creator God. So our small groups, Sunday School classes and pulpits must present an uncompromised gospel directly from God’s Word.

Mediocrity Versus Excellence and Comfort Versus Effectiveness
It is important for church leaders to be focused on presenting Jesus to all of Mobile County. Half of the population is lost. The current outreach to our communities obviously is not as effective as it needs to be. We must embrace whatever methods present an uncompromised gospel to the differing age groups and ethnicities in our county. It is disconcerting the number of church members who are fighting any change and stopping all progress. The Bride of Christ is to “Seek and save the Lost.” (Luke 19:10, HCSB)
